Premier Tech becomes main partner of the 2026 UCI Road World Championships in Montreal

Premier Tech is pleased to announce its commitment as Main Partner of the UCI Road World Championships Montréal 2026, a major international sporting event that will take place from September 20 to 27, 2026.

Given that Premier Tech’s commitment to cycling spans more than 30 years, this partnership fully aligns with its dedication to developing the sport, athletes, and communities.

Premier Tech is committed at every level of the sport — from development to professional teams, for both male and female riders —, playing a key role in the growth of cycling in Québec, across Canada and worldwide.

“We have been driven by a passion for cycling for more than 30 years. It was only natural that such a historic event as the UCI Road World Championships Montréal 2026 would take place with the support of Premier Tech. By becoming a Main Partner of the event, we are once again affirming our desire to inspire the next generation, strengthen cycling culture in Québec, and build bridges to help athletes from here and around the world shine,” says Jean Bélanger, president and chief executive officer of Premier Tech.

A landmark sporting event

For eight days, Montréal will be all about cycling. Over 1 000 men and women athletes from over 80 countries will compete in 13 spectacular events.

With nearly 500 000 on-site attendees and 300 million viewers worldwide expected, this will be Québec’s biggest sporting event since the 1976 Olympic Games.

Premier Tech will be the presenting partner of the Championships’ volunteer force — an essential pillar of the event’s success — which will require rallying around 2 000 volunteers. Premier Tech will also present the UCI Gala, which celebrates athletes and key stakeholders in international cycling.
