Your future role 

  • Provide preventative maintenance to the production equipment and building
  • Ensure that the equipment and production lines run in an efficient manner
  • Communicate with the Production team and coordinate inventory of parts and supplies
  • Evaluate and analyze opportunities to improve equipment reliability and performance
  • Maintain a safe work environment within the site and on each job

Required skills 

  • 2 years of mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment repairing equipment such as conveyors, pumps, compressors, fans, blowers, electrical motors and gearbox
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills such as mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Knowledge of electrical systems and/or PLC troubleshooting
  • Ability to read mechanical and electrical schematics - an asset  
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment 
  • Language skills: bilinguals in French and English
