The Manufacturing Technician is primarily responsible for assembling and manufacturing products while ensuring quality, safety, and production standards are met. This position also supports production operations by performing basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting, along with MIG welding of steel components and equipment repairs as needed. Production responsibilities make up the majority of the role, with maintenance and welding duties performed as business needs require.

Your future role

  • Assemble products and components according to work instructions and quality standards
  • Operate production equipment safely and efficiently
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet company specifications
  • Perform basic maintenance on production equipment, including replacing worn or damaged parts
  • Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues to minimize production downtime
  • Conduct routine inspections and notify supervisors of repairs requiring advanced maintenance
  • Perform MIG welding on steel parts
  • Ensure welds meet company quality and safety standards
  • Operate welding equipment safely and maintain welding tools

Required skills

  • Manufacturing, production, or maintenance experience preferred
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues and replace mechanical components
  • Experience with MIG welding on steel required
  • Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
