Monday, December 19, 2011

Premier Tech announced today the official launch of its team member development program: LEAP – Leadership, Excellence, Accountability and Passion. It aims to develop the skills required to support the company’s growth. This announcement was made in the name of the Minister of Employment and Social Solidarity and Minister responsible for the Mauricie region, Ms. Julie Boulet, by Mr. Jean D’Amour, Member for Rivière-du-Loup and Parliamentary assistant to the Minister of Natural Resources and Wildlife, and followed the signing of a financial partnership totaling $C2.28M with Emploi-Québec.

The contribution of the Québec government in this innovative personnel training and development project will allow Premier Tech to make sure its human resources perfectly support its plans for international development and growth. LEAP will also help increase Premier Tech’s competitiveness in order to best position itself on the markets it is targeting. With a view to ensuring its sustainability and long-term success, Premier Tech has been using the development and recognition of the skills of its team members to continuously innovate, improve its operational capacity and offer value-added products and services.

Premier Tech is implementing LEAP, a comprehensive integration and development program which represents a total investment of C$12.1M and will further strengthen the company’s investments in training, as it is convinced that its team members are its distinctive driving force.

“This investment is in line with Premier Tech’s vision, which has banked for the last 20 years on its strategic initiatives in IR&D in order to maintain its leadership on the various markets in which it evolves”, said Jean Bélanger, President and Chief Operating Officer of Premier Tech.
