Premier Tech, through its Premier Tech Environment (PTE) business unit, an international leader in the development of onsite and decentralized wastewater treatment (ODWWT) technologies, is proud to announce that its Ecoflo ® technology, known in Europe under the brand name Ecofix ®, finished first among eight technologies after the 40 weeks of the most stringent testing protocol known to date in the ODWWT industry, that is, the VEOLIA WATER protocol which is including stress conditions (peaks and stop/start) representing both permanent and vacation homes (cottage).
This independent evaluation, requested by VEOLIA WATER and performed by Europe’s Scientific and Technical Building Center (CSTB), is based on a protocol used to test eight treatment technologies at the same time, on the same bench test, under the same representative ODWWT conditions, that are, sand filter, Aerobic Treatment Unit (A.T.U.), A.T.U. with fixed film, zeolith filters, wetland, sand filter equipped with a uniform distribution system as well as Premier Tech’s Ecoflo ® and EcoflexTM technologies.

The performance of the Ecoflo ® system, which was very precisely measured during the VEOLIA WATER testing protocol, illustrates the high stability of the Ecoflo ® technology under all types of conditions, as shown in the table below:
